You can spend many hours immersed in history at one of Sacramento's many museums and historic attractions, browse the art on display at the several galleries across Sacramento, marvel at a performing arts display, take a cruise along the Sacramento River, or visit one of the area's vineyards and wineries.
Step back in time in Old Sacramento, where boutiques, restaurants, museums, and clubs can be explored among Gold Rush-era buildings beside the Sacramento River. Or enjoy a lively night out at one of the city's clubs or live music venues. Enjoy cuisine from all over the world, or indulge in some retail therapy at one of Sacramento's malls or unique boutiques.
Sports enthusiasts can enjoy mountain biking, soccer, basketball, golf, and almost any other form of sport, including kayaking and rafting. More leisurely outdoor pursuits include hiking, watching wildlife, or simply spending time appreciating the natural beauty of the parks in Sacramento and its surrounding area.
